As for your "two-sided coin"; faith in that which IS temporal("Matter"; or that made by man; or that which IS here today yet gone tomorrow!) IS liken unto spitting into the wind, yet that which IS of The CREATOR can edify and increase one's Faith in The CREATOR!

So IT IS, that liken unto The Messiah, His brethren(naturally male or 'fe'male) also seek & desire above all else:

Such Faith Truly Matters!

"Body, Soul and Spirit" (I Thessalonians 5:23)

"And YHVH Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath(Spirit/air) of life; and man became a living soul"! (Genesis 1:7)

The  SPIRIT(Life{breath/air}!) entering into the natural body of man created a living soul(That which IS mankind's link to The CREATOR of Life)! (I Thessalonians 5:23)

Yet "ELOHIM" had testified, "The soul that sins shall die"! (John 20:17, Genesis 2:17, Ezekiel 18:4)

However, after Eve had sinned and eaten of "the forbidden fruit"! She then gave such to Adam, who also ate of the fruit! Yet the flesh of Adam and Eve was yet alive! For they continued to receive the breath(Spirit/air) of life! Yet their souls connection with The CREATOR was severed, and they realized they were naked(Yet they tried to cover their shame as multiplied billions have done ever since)! So they tried to hide from YHVH ELOHIM! (Genesis 3:7)

Yet, when YHVH ELOHIM called? Thankfully Adam answered and reconnected! Yet sin's destructive processes had already begun within their bodies, of what had become sinful flesh....... (Genesis 3:8)

What Truly Matters?

Most certainly not that which - IS - of  'D'evil's world and/or religion's way(Except it be The Active Faith as revealed in James 1:27!) in these last days!
